Solo Exhibition & Sale — In Tandem Gallery
Online and In Person — Tue, Nov 5, 2024 - Thu, Dec 5, 2024
I will have a collection of new, fresh work featured at In Tandem Gallery in Bakersville, NC.
This gallery was the first to ever carry my ceramic work. I will never forget when Silvia and Andy met me in my hotel room at the Pittsburgh NCECA in 2018 to look through the work I had brought (with no inventory or labels, like a total amateur…!). They’ve been encouraging and excited about my work ever since. I am excited to be having another solo show at their beautiful gallery. Please check them out if you’re ever in NC near Penland School of Crafts!
In Person Workshop — Lush & Layered Decoration Techniques on Greenware
Are you looking to create rich depth on your ceramic work? Taylor will share how to layer multiple decorative techniques on greenware and at different stages of dryness. Handbuilt forms made on the first day will be surfaced by stamping, slip trailing, and carving, combined with underglaze painting and paper resist for luminous and luscious results. Students will leave with a range of decorated greenware samples. All levels welcome.
$610.00 + $60.00 (Supply Fee)
