Can I contact you with questions?
Absolutely, send them to me via email: taylorsijan@gmail.com. I believe in sharing as much knowledge as possible to help pay forward all of the guidance I’ve been given over the years. I’ll answer what I can, if the information is mine to give, or point you in the right direction.
If you need answers for a report for class, make sure you contact me a couple weeks in advance, not the night before.
Can you tell me when your work is available?
If you would like an email notification when I have an online sale, please sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of my website.
How can I take a workshop or class with you?
Check my Events page for upcoming classes and sales. If you’d like an emailed notification when new classes are available for registration, please sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of my website.
Do you take commissions?
Not for custom work, no. However, I do consider suggestions when I’m making new batches of work. If you’d like to buy a blue and black dinner plate, for example, let me know and I’ll make sure a few are in the next shop update for you to choose from. If you have tried and haven’t been able to purchase something you’ve been waiting for from my online store, send me an email and I’ll see what I can do.
Do you sell wholesale?
I will consider selling at a wholesale rate for bulk orders of 15+ pieces. A nonrefundable down payment of 50% of the total commission is required up front to begin the project, with the remaining 50% due when the completed work is being packed up to ship. I can’t see anything in your Shop. Are you sold out?
If my shop is loading only a blank, white page, then I am completely sold out. It can happen quickly sometimes. Check back next update!
If my shop is showing that a passcode is required, then the shop is currently not open to the public. If you’re checking on a shop update day that I’ve announced, it is probably not the designated time for the shop to open yet.

What clay body do you use?
Pete Pinnell’s Cone 6 Porcelain Recipe (translucent when thin - about 1/8”, shrinks 13% at cone 6):

30 grams epsom salts
How do you fire your work?
I bisque fire to cone 04 and glaze fire to cone 6/7 in oxidation an electric kiln. No special holds or firing schedule.
How long have you been working with clay?
I took my first ceramics class in 2014.
